Le Cellier de Tiercelinnes is a small, family-run winery located in Arbois. Jérôme Arnoux is the owner and winemaker, and he produces a range of wines, including white, red, and sparkling wines, using traditional Jura winemaking techniques. Jérôme was born in Montigny-les-Arsures, the first wine-growing village in the Jura, famous for the Trousseau grape. At 17 years old, he began the real work of the vineyard and the cellar, for more than twenty years, as an employee in different wineries in Arbois. His extensive experience includes a decade alongside renowned winemaker Stéphane Tissot. The wines are aged in La Cave de la Reine Jeanne, housed in a historic 14th-century Gothic cellar built by Queen Jeanne.
Today, with the help of his wife Eloïse, they produce and select grapes from the most beautiful Jura terroirs to produce our own vintages. The vines are grown organically and biodynamically, without pesticide or insecticide, only with contact products (low-dose copper and sulfur) and an organic fertilizer supplies once a year at the end of winter. The plots are grassed and mowed in the middle of the row which develops life into the ground, avoids gully problems and allows to stabilize the yields around 35 hl /ha. To ensure quality and in total respect of the products, their cuvées are fermented only with indigenous yeasts, minimal intervention, and vinified with a minimum of sulphur. The wines are aged in oak barrels and are known for their complexity, depth, and terroir-driven flavors. Jérôme Arnoux and Le Cellier de Tiercelinnes are highly regarded in the Jura wine community, and their wines are sought after by collectors and wine lovers around the world.
