The 2024 harvest was exceptionally warm and dry, providing the opportunity for multiple picking dates. This allowed us to achieve bright acidity along with a fully ripe fruit profile. The nose is distinctively fruit-forward, showcasing vibrant notes of ripe raspberries and strawberries. The palate is refreshing and lively, with a medium body that balances crisp acidity and a smooth texture. Flavors of raspberry and strawberries with a hint of herbal complexity reminiscent of fresh basil or thyme linger. The finish is clean with a lingering essence of minerality and a touch of citrus that invites another sip.

Founded in 2013 by Matthew Spaccarelli and Casey Erdmann, Fjord Vineyards strives to craft wines that reflect where they are grown.  The Hudson River flows through one of the oldest fjords in North America. Acting as a gateway to the Hudson Highlands, this geological wonder helps create the unique microclimate that allows high quality grapes to be grown and was the inspiration behind the name of the winery, Fjord Vineyards. For more than a decade, Matt and Casey have been producing elegant sustainable wines that speak to the distinct character of the region.
