Certified Organic and Biodynamic. From a single 1.16-hectare parcel of 80–110-year-old Gamay. Primarily granitic sandstone, this poor, acidic soil allows for concentrated wines. Bush trained according to the lunar calendar to aid vine regeneration. Native cover crops are grown and tilled into the soil in alternating rows to aid soil health. A blend of plants is used for vine treatments (nettle, buckthorn, etc. 10 days of carbonic maceration, of which 3 days were strict carbonic with racking. Elevage in used demi-muids of 600L and used barriques of Pinot Noir for 9 months. No fining, filtering or SO2.
