Gober & Freinbichler is the collaborative project of friends Dominik Gober and Gerald Freinbichler, who met while working under the legendary Franz Weninger. After founding their winery in 2016 in Neckenmarkt, Central Burgenland, the duo began cultivating overlooked vineyard parcels with an eye toward elegance, purity, and low-intervention winemaking. Their estate has been certified organic since 2018, and their minimalist cellar practices focus on natural fermentations and site transparency. Their wines—especially Blaufränkisch—have drawn attention for their restrained, classical style and unbeatable value.
