Driven by the idea of making a lightly aromatic textural wine, something not super dry or super fruity. This wine always strives to be fresh, acid-leaning, mineral, saline/briny and extremely drinkable!
The pieces of this blend were all fermented in stainless steel tanks and the blend was assembled in pieces as the fermentations finished. Spontaneous fermentation, partial ML, no oak, and bottled early with a touch of residual CO2. VEGAN. Vineyards: Talmage Bench, Borden Ranch, Clements Hills, Potter Valley - All CCOF certified organic.
Kenny Likitprakong and Lynn Wheeler Hobo started their urban winery, Hobo Wine Co, in Santa Rosa in 2002. Kenny and Lynn are focused on creating outstanding organic and biodynamic wines with style, verve, and accessible prices. They promote many social initiatives, from supporting Black Lives Matter, to powering their winery with local renewable energy, that are fundamental to their winemaking philosophy and to give back to both the land and the community. These wines are ambitious, socially responsible, and true indicators of terroir. The name refers to their sourcing of fruit from multiple vineyard owners. They maintain close relationships with the farmers they work with and are very transparent in their sourcing.
